Cassie is sporty in tank top and leggings as she and Alex Fine take part in BLM protest in Compton

They became parents to a baby girl in December.

And on Sunday, Cassie Ventura and Alex Fine took part in a Black Lives Matter rally in Compton, Los Angeles.

The couple wore matching black for the outing and arrived clutching coffee to go and sporting big smiles.  

Cassie, 33, was dressed in a tank top and leggings with a sweatshirt knotted around her waist.

She wore a ball cap and sunglasses and accessorized with large silver hoop earrings.

She and her fitness trainer hubby both had cloth face masks which were pulled down under their chin so as to be able to drink their beverages.

Fine had on a t-shirt and shorts which displayed his arm and leg tattoos and a baseball cap. 

Cassie and Fine got together in late 2018 following the end of her decade-long relationship with rap mogul Diddy.

They announced they were expecting a baby together in June 2019 and tied the knot at the end of August.

Their little bundle of joy arrived on December 6.

Speaking to HATCH last fall ahead of her daughter’s birth, Cassie has made it clear she wants to juggle motherhood with her career. 

‘I don’t want to lose myself in becoming a mom,’ she explained. 

‘Of course, I will do anything for her, but I also want to remain true to myself. I want her to grow up watching me do my thing, she went on. ‘I want her to see me making music, building my business, being a mom, a wife, a force, and be inspired by it all.’
