It appears Big Brother has paid off for Channel Seven.

The reboot featured tears, tantrums, outspoken contestants, a gravity-defying challenge and a shock elimination all in the first episode.

In the premiere episode, romance began to blossom between former AFL player Daniel Gorringe and dance teacher Talia Rycroft.

Meanwhile, housemates Allan Liang and Kieran Davidson divided viewers across the country, with one fan even creating a poll to see who was the most irritating.

However, there was one clear winner, and her name was Angela Clancy.
