Sara Sampaio is dressed in all black as she grabs coffee with friends before going to protest in LA

She turned her Instagram over to an activist in Lisbon, Portugal, earlier in the day.

And Sara Sampaio showed her own commitment to social justice later on Saturday when she showed up at a Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old model stopped at a Starbucks for a caffeine blast with friends before taking to the streets to make her voice heard.

Sara kept the focus off herself for the gathering with a minimalist all-black outfit featuring a black T-shirt and matching sweatpants.

The Victoria’s Secret angel had a brown backpack slung over her shoulders, and she wore her brunette locks in a long ponytail through her black baseball cap.

Sara’s model friend Juliana Herz wore a white T-shirt with light-colored jeans, and a third friend wore a white T-shirt with black leggings.

All three appeared to be wearing the same classic white Nike sneakers.

The models all brought masks to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, though they wore them below their chins before arriving at the protest, defeating the mask’s purpose.

The protests in Los Angeles and across the country were inspired by the May 25 death of George Floyd in police custody.

The 46-year-old died after Minneapolis Police Department officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for close to nine minutes, even after he had stopped breathing and became unresponsive.

After a multi-day delay, Chauvin was charged with second-degree manslaughter and third-degree murder (later upgraded to second-degree murder).

He and the other three officers at the scene of Floyd’s arrest were all fired by the MPD shortly after video of Floyd’s death became public, and the other three were charged with aiding and abetting murder and manslaughter days later.
