Big Brother Australia suffers huge blunder ahead of the show’s premiere on Seven

Whoops! Big Brother Australia suffers a huge blunder ahead of the show’s premiere… before quickly deleting the error from Instagram and leaving fans VERY confused

A mistimed tweet sent Big Brother Australia fans into a frenzy on Sunday night.

The reality show’s official Twitter account accidentally posted a graphic at 12:30am teasing that there was ‘just one hour to go’ until the highly-anticipated premiere.

Baffled viewers feared there had been a last minute scheduling change and they would have to stay up all night to tune in – before the post was quickly deleted.

‘Unless I’m mistaken, the season isn’t premiering at 1.30am,’ one fan responded.

Many more questioned if the premiere time had now changed, despite the first episode being advertised as airing at 7:30pm on Monday night for weeks.

Amid the confusion, the tweet was deleted from Channel Seven’s official Big Brother Twitter account through the night, making it clear that it was a mistake.
