Sonia Kruger is shocked to discover hidden cameras in Big Brother house

Big Brother is watching you… even when you don’t know it: Host Sonia Kruger reveals there are 65 cameras in the Big Brother house – and even she doesn’t know where they’re hidden

Sonia Kruger proved there’s no hiding in the Big Brother house during an appearance on The Morning Show on Friday.

The 54-year-old host was giving a tour of the compound’s backyard when she revealed there were 65 cameras concealed on the property.

‘There’s a certain degree of paranoia that goes on in the house. I mean, 65 cameras following your every move – and I think there are some here, too,’ she said.

Proving just how well concealed the cameras are, Sonia struggled to find them herself while strolling through the garden.

‘They say you forget about them, but really, it’s kind of weird isn’t it…?’ she said, before finally spotting a hidden camera.

Sonia then showed off the swimming pool, which features glass walls.

‘The housemates will be in a fishbowl in a fishbowl! That’s so meta,’ she laughed.

She then invited The Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies to come over to the Big Brother house for a ‘party’ – but Kylie confessed she was ‘a little concerned’ about the 65 cameras.

‘Larry and I can barely cope with four here in the studio,’ she added.

Sonia revealed the new Big Brother house also features a basement, which is where many of the challenges will take place.

She went on to show off the sustainable ‘living wall’ in the backyard, where the housemates can source herbs for their meals.

Afterwards, Sonia drew attention to the large day bed on the back patio, which she described as one of her favourite features in the house.
