Paul Walker’s manager is suing the late star’s loan out company over unpaid commissions

November will mark seven years since Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died in a car crash.

The late actor’s manager is suing his loan out company Vagrant Inc. for unpaid commissions, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Matt Luber and Luber Roklkin Entertainment filed documents via the LA County Superior Court Friday against Vagrant Inc over unpaid commissions from The Fast And Furious franchise – from mid-2018 to present.

He is suing for quantum meruit and breach of oral contract, reports THR, as well as seeking a declaration from the company that he’s owed 5% commission from any of the late actor’s gross earnings during which he was the manager – meaning retroactively and going forward.

He also asks for accounting of how much money that is.

Matt claims he managed the movie star’s career for almost 20 years, with Vagrant paying him his 5% commission following Paul’s death in 2013.

The company hasn’t paid from mid-2018 until present, Matt claims.

The Hollywood Reporter says Matt’s attorney John Fowler wrote in the complaint: ‘There had not been any issues with receiving this commission until Vagrant recently came under “new management.”‘

Adding: ‘There is no justifiable rationale for the lack of payment after the roughly two uninterrupted decades.’

The case comes after Paul’s 21-year-old daughter Meadow Walker, who is typically private about her late father, gave fans a look at at a sweet moment they shared.

The model and philanthropist shared an old video with Paul with her over two million Instagram followers on Tuesday.

Paul seemed excited and incredibly happy to see his daughter as he keeps repeating ‘no way,’ in disbelief.

‘I never thought I’d share this,’ she wrote with the video on Instagram. ‘But it felt right. Be good. I love you. Stay safe.’

Glendale native Paul’s birthday is September 12 and it’s unknown what year the video is from.

He died just weeks after Meadow’s 15th birthday and the crash was attributed to older tires and his high speeds — between 80 and 93 miles per hour, according to CNN.

Meadow is the daughter of Paul and his one-time girlfriend Rebecca Soteros.

She spent much of her life with her mother in Hawaii before joining her father in California in 2011.

The actor, best known for performances in the horror–thriller Joy Ride and the Fast & Furious series, was killed at age 40 in a fiery wreck on November 30, 2013, after he crashed his Porsche Carrera GT into a metal pole.

Paul was killed before he had completed his work on Furious 7, though the filmmakers were able to use his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker as stand-ins augmented with CGI to complete the part.

Since her father’s death she has been working with the Paul Walker Foundation on ocean and wildlife projects.

Back in December she announced she was raising money with charity Pencils of Promise to build a school in another country.
