Is that even legal?! Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac previews the BIZARRE new Big Brother challenge that will leave the housemates writhing in pain

Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac was forced to endure one of the punishing challenges from the upcoming season of Big Brother on Friday.

During a segment on Channel Seven’s breakfast show, the 38-year-old was hooked up to a set of electronic pads which sent shockwaves through his body.

‘You lose all control of your bodily… Luckily I went to the bathroom beforehand!’ he said while laughing nervously.

Sunrise co-anchor David Koch introduced Sam by saying he was ‘about to be punished’ at the Big Brother house.

‘This is something that I have never done before,’ the funnyman told viewers, before showing off the two electrical wires attached to his wrists.

Sam explained that Big Brother had been giving him different challenges ‘every half an hour’ during his on-set visit.

Big Brother’s voice then boomed through the speakers, instructing Sam to ‘thread a needle whilst attached to electronic pads’ as a punishment.

During the challenge, host Sonia Kruger was in charge of what appeared to be a control console that sent pulses of electricity through Sam’s body.

At one stage, Sonia gave the controls a ‘test’ which resulted in Sam twitching his shoulders uncomfortably as he winced in pain.

‘Oh yeah, I feel that! I feel that!’ Sam yelped as Sonia laughed.

He then pointed out that while the viewers could only see two of the electronic pads, he actually had four attached to him, with the other two on his buttocks.

‘I had no say in where they put the other ones!’ he told his shocked colleagues.

He added: ‘When Big Brother says take your pants off, you take your pants off!’

Sonia then interjected to reveal the electronic pads were something the Big Brother housemates had also been subjected to while filming the show earlier this year.

After telling Sonia she seemed a little too happy about the sadistic challenge, Sam attempted the thread the needle as instructed while being shocked repeatedly.

'Aaargh! Sonia! Should we have a safe word? Should we have a safe word?!' he screamed, while crouching uncomfortably on the ground

But Sonia breezily assured Sam there was ‘a medic on standby’ as he shrunk in agony in front of her.

‘You should go back to Channel Nine!’ he yelled at Sonia, referencing the fact she had recently switched networks.
