Lucy Hale sports Alone Together charity cap while carrying dog Elvis… after attending BLM protest

Pretty Little Liars alum Lucy Hale opted to carry, rather than walk, her dog Elvis (whom she adopted in 2016) in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Katy Keene star – turning 31 this month – protected herself by wearing a black mask, which LA Mayor Eric Garcetti made mandatory for all outdoor activity on May 13.

Garcetti extended the stay-at home order indefinitely due to the 58K confirmed COVID-19 cases in LA County, which has led to 2,489 deaths as of Thursday – according to Johns Hopkins University.  

Lucy (born Karen Lucille) also sported a $19.99 Iconic Apparel x Feeding America ‘Alone Together Dad’ hat with matching jeans and a green sweatshirt.

Hale finished off her casual attire with $49.95 beige Vans ‘Sk8-Hi’ high-top sneakers.

‘I think that some days are harder than others and I have to keep a perspective. I’m just grateful I have sunshine. I have my dog,’ the Memphis-born brunette told ET on May 13.

‘It’s been a little hard doing it alone. We as humans need human connection… I think we’re all feeling it at this point. [I’m] staying optimistic. Eating a lot crap food. Watching a lot of TV.’ 

But Lucy got a lot of human connection on Wednesday when she attended ‘an amazing peaceful’ Black Lives Matter protest downtown, which she shared with her 38M social media following.

Fans can also expect Hale to attend LGBT Pride‘s peaceful protest march in response to racial injustice planned for June 14 through Hollywood and West Hollywood.

The Almay brand ambassador has three films due out this year – including the Riedell Brothers’ rom-com A Nice Girl Like You, in which she produces and stars as inhibited violinist Lucy Neal.

A Nice Girl Like You – based on Ayn Carrillo Gailey’s 2007 memoir Pornology – also stars Mindy Cohn, Jackie Cruz, and Leonidas Gulaptis.
