‘We have gotten to know each other better over the weeks which has made things slightly easier. At first it was trial and error but now we’ve figured it out a bit more. ✨

‘You make me a better person every day. You are just so innocently cute and I can’t believe you’re mine. My Ickle bestie. Feels like yesterday my contractions started and I was closer to meeting you. ✨’

She went on: ‘For anyone that has endometriosis and is pregnant. Honestly the fact you feel those pains month in month out when you have a period, made my contractions easier to deal with. I didn’t feel any of my early contractions at all, I didn’t even know I was in early labour or active labour.

‘I started to feel them when I was 6cm dilated. I thought I was going to go into hospital with contractions and they would send me home but it didn’t quite go like that – I was shocked when they said “6cm & loads of wet black curly hair, off to labour ward”.

Expressing her thoughts on social media, the star insisted that every baby’s needs were different as she stated it is  ‘easy to sit & criticise’.

In a lengthy post, she shared her own feeding experiences as she wrote: ‘I think it’s really important for mothers to find their own way. It’s easy to sit & criticise, it’s easy to tell someone your way is best & to force your opinion.

‘In reality everyone is different & every mother finds their own way. What might work for you might not work for them.’

She continued: ‘I say this as I constantly get the just stick the [baby] on the boob Or I don’t get why you #pump so much. I don’t pump ‘so much’ I pump in line with how much my baby feeds.

‘I had a bad experience in hospital & to be totally honest with you I had pure anxiety over how much milk my baby was getting. No I don’t want to hear your baby takes what it needs etc because my baby wasn’t. This has been the whole battle. My baby was born with #jaundice & was dehydrated(which I know can be common I’m not saying I’m the first or last).’

Continuing to share her own journey, she added: ‘Every [baby] is born with too many red blood cells it’s whether they can get rid of the red blood cells alone. We didn’t know until I got home & the [baby] wasn’t feeding at all.

‘Imagine getting home & the one person your [baby] is relying on is YOU & you can’t get them to feed. I had pure anxiety I cried every time. We then had to go for tests & that’s when they said ‘your baby needs a lot of milk to fight it & blue light therapy.

‘We can either take the baby to the special care unit & feed through a tube or you can feed constantly for 3 days straight.’ I didn’t want the tube for my [baby] so for 2 nights I had NO sleep & was #breastfeeding my baby every hour for up to an hour, then pumping to get the supply ready for home & then feeding a bottle of formula.

‘That’s how much my baby needed to fight it as well as being on the blue light therapy bed.’

Discussing the impact on her, she said: ‘It was a lot on me physically & emotionally. I was alone in hospital due to the #pandemic. My [baby] sucked it’s tongue & so wouldn’t latch or take the bottle initially & had to be taught.

‘The [baby] prefers #ebm & is calmer & that’s fine. I wanted to share this as everyone has a different experience as to why they do it a certain way.No one should ever judge & should only show support!’

Her post was soon met with dozens of supportive messages from fans, with many sharing their own experiences.

Lauryn, who is isolating with younger sister Chloe Goodman, 26, has been open about her struggles with being a single mum and breastfeeding her child.

On Saturday she shared the lengthy post detailing how she’s become a ‘delirious machine’ to care for her newborn, alongside a throwback snap of her then-pregnant sister Chloe.

Lauryn and Chloe have been isolating together since February due to the COVID-19 crisis, with a spokesperson for the star explaining to MailOnline that this meant they could still see each others’ babies once they were born.

The star also admitted that despite becoming a ‘machine’ to care for her newborn baby, she wouldn’t change it for the world, and asked fans to offer their own messages of support for those in the same position.

Earlier this month, Lauryn was met with drama when England footballer Kyle’s furious ex of 10 years Annie, 27, appeared to announce her baby’s gender.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the former WAG wrote: ‘FYI… it’s a BOY!’.

The sportsman, 29, was targeted by former girlfriend Annie – the mother of his other three children – who posted a thinly-veiled dig on Instagram.

It read: ‘A man who disrespects a loyal woman deserves a heartless h*e.’

Annie was left embittered when Kyle allegedly told her about Lauryn and the baby over the phone – having dated Lauryn last summer.

Kyle shares three sons with Annie: Roman, Riaan and Reign.
