Aside from fitness and social media activism, Carrie is also opening up her personal life to the public in a new four-part documentary series titled Mike And Carrie: God & Country.

The first episode premiered last Wednesday and featured candid commentary from Carrie and husband Mike about their marriage and Carrie’s early hesitance to have children.

Carrie said in the series that she never saw herself ‘getting married or having a family,’ while Mike claimed that he wanted to replicate his own idyllic childhood.

‘I was never good with other people’s kids. Why would I be good with one of my own,’ Underwood explained.

A year later, the pair got engaged and by 2010 they were officially husband and wife.
