Vanessa openly discussed her battle with ‘disfiguring acne’ on Married At First Sight.

‘It was pretty hard going through two decades with really bad skin. I was just that skinny acne girl,’ she said on the Nine reality show.

‘I was a very late bloomer to develop into something somewhat attractive. People tend to pick out your imperfections, and I’ve got a lot of them.

‘It damaged me and I don’t think anybody would be truly satisfied with this.’
