Billy Bush has been accused of causing ‘pain’ with ‘white privilege’ by former Access Hollywood anchor Shaun Robinson.

Bush, 48,  tweeted a video on Monday of himself talking to correspondent Nate Burleson about the protests happening across America in response to the killing of George Floyd

The post prompted a response from Robinson, 57, who appeared to suggest she had a less than enjoyable time working with the host on Access Hollywood.

‘Good Morning @thebillybush. I appreciate you being an ally NOW,’ the actress wrote via Twitter on Wednesday, June 3.

‘But, if you want to talk about the pain #WhitePrivilege causes African Americans, you should probably also talk to the black woman who sat next to you on the set of #AccessHollywood for years.’ 

Meanwhile, a friend of both Bush and Robinson tells DailyMail.com: ‘This has come out of left field. They were hanging out last year at the Casamigos Halloween Party and they looked like the best of friends.

Bush joined Extra last year, which marked his first TV gig after getting axed from the Today show in 2016, when the infamous Access Hollywood tape of Bush and President Trump was leaked. 

The TV host has daughters Mary, 18, Lillie, 14, and Josie, 20, whom he shared with his ex-wife Sydney Davis.
