Demi Burnett revealed on the latest episode of her podcast that things have been rocky between her and boyfriend Slater Davis, 25, since entering lockdown.
‘We’ve fought a lot during this, because we’d only been together, like, a month before the quarantine happened — like a month and a half,’ explained the 25-year-old Bachelor alum.
Despite their frequent arguments, Burnett insisted that the situation has taught her and Davis how to resolve their fights ‘maturely,’ which has been ‘very telling.’

‘What I learned from it the most is we can resolve our fights. Even if I’m annoyed or he’s annoyed with me, whatever and we do get into a little bicker, we can resolve it maturely and so that’s very telling,’ said Demi.
According to Demi, her and Slater – who have been quarantining at his mom’s home – ‘spent every day together’ prior to lockdown, so she felt they could handle the constant one-on-one time.
‘[When] you spend that much time with someone and their family — it’s like you start nit-picking and you start getting mad over the stupidest stuff and fighting about it,’ explained Burnett to her podcast guests Nikki and Brie Bella.
She also noted that there ‘has been a couple fights where [Davis’] family was involved’ before explaining the pair’s most recent fight that has left things ‘a little tense.’

After she had left their home to grab some personal items from her own, she returned to find Davis and his family ‘all talking about [her] and talking about the situation.’
‘So then I got back and I was, like, well I feel really awkward because I know you’ve all been talking about me and some of you are irritated with me, obviously taking his side and stuff,’ said Demi.
She also recalled having a conversation with Davis where she urged him to keep his family out of their personal quarrels.
‘I definitely feel uncomfortable at times, but I’m just trying to get over it but it’s frustrating cause it’s like, “Babe” — I’m like, “Don’t involve your family in all this cause you know I’m here with you and it’s gonna be awkward for me and uncomfortable and I don’t want that.”‘

In an attempt to take some responsibility, Demi admitted that she is often the more ‘passionate’ arguer and has a ‘loud voice,’ so it is hard for Davis’ family to mind their business.
‘But then sometimes, whenever we are fighting, it’s me who’s louder because I just have a loud voice whenever I’m passionate about something and so it’s, like, I’m kind of doing it to myself because everyone’s like, ‘What’s going on?’ And I’m like ‘none of your freaking business.’
Burnett appeared on season 23 of The Bachelor, where she competed for the affection of football star Colton Underwood, 28.
Unfortunately, she was eliminated by Underwood during week six of the popular ABC reality series.
