Emma Freedman announces she is expecting her second child with husband Charlie Rundle

Emma Freedman has announced she is expecting her second child with husband Charlie Rundle.

The TV and radio presenter, 31, confirmed the exciting baby news to The Daily Telegraph on Monday. 

‘We’re absolutely delighted and feel very lucky,’ Emma told the publication. 

Emma went on to explain it would be a busy end of the year for the couple, but she was looking forward to it.  

‘It will be a busy back end of the year but we are excited for all of the chaos that comes with two small friends,’ she said. 

The couple are already parents to one-year-old, William Anthony Rundle. 

‘Will has already shown quite the love of small babies so hopefully he is like that when he gets to meet his little sibling.’ 

Emma said she was able to keep her second pregnancy a secret, due to the coronavirus lockdown. 

The couple are expecting their baby bundle to arrive in October. 

Emma has certainly made no secret she had plans to expand her brood, telling Daily Mail Australia at Derby Day last year she would ‘love a couple more’ babies.   

‘This time last year I was pregnant, I’m definitely not pregnant today!’ Emma gushed.

Discussing motherhood, she added: ‘It’s amazing, I love being a mum. It’s a big juggle and a big balance – especially this time of year – but he’s a really happy little boy.’  

Emma and Charlie tied the knot back in June 2018 at the Paddington Reservoir in Sydney. The couple began dating in 2015.
