Next month, Franco’s directorial debut The Rental will be released in select drive-ins, theaters if open, and on demand, according to EW.com.

The horror film stars Brie along with Dan Stevens, Snowpiercer’s Sheila Vand and Shameless star Jeremy Allen White.

The movie filmed on location in Oregon centers on two couples who go on vacation together at a seaside rental.

Of course, nothing is quite as it seems and involves a mysterious murder.

‘I think about how the country is as divided as it has ever been, and no one trusts each other, and yet we trust staying in the home of a stranger, simply because of a few positive reviews online,’ Franco recently told EW.com
