It comes as some viewers demanded Channel 10 sign the 26-year-old culinary talent up for his own series.

A viewer took to Twitter on Thursday, and wrote: ‘Channel 10 needs to sing up Reynold and create never ending episode of the show where he goes full Reynold mode and creates adventurous plates of desserts.’

On Thursday, Reynold wowed the judges with his Alice In Wonderland-inspired dessert dish called Down The Rabbit Hole.

His highly-technically dish featured a caramelised white chocolate diplomat with pistachio sponge, matcha crumble, dark chocolate and a vanilla caramel and lime yoghurt.

Reynold, who owns KOI Dessert Bar with his family, used the hot caramel to melt the chocolate, creating an illusion of a rabbit hole, much to the judge’s amazement.

The judges were unsurprisingly stunned at the incredible thought he put into creating the dish.

Melissa Leong said: ‘This is a bombshell dish on every single level. I mean, if there was ever a plate of food that has come through this kitchen this season that says, “I am back to win,” it’s this dish.’

Andy Allen added: ‘He’s on another level in terms of concept and then a final dish. It’s crazy. That would normally take so long to develop… It just blows my mind.’

MasterChef Australia continues Sunday at 7.30pm on Channel Ten
