The Bachelorette’s Lee Elliot reveals his lavish wedding in Italy to Georgia Love has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic

They fell in love on the Bachelorette in 2016.

And on Saturday, Lee Elliot revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic had delayed his wedding to Georgia Love.

The 38-year-old shared a series of throwback images of himself and his gorgeous fiancee holidaying in Italy in 2017, before revealing they were planning to return there to exchange their vows.

Putting plans on hold! On Saturday, The Bachelorette’s Lee Elliot (left) revealed he and Georgia Love (right) were planning to fly to Italy to search for a venue for their lavish wedding but the COVID-19 pandemic meant they had to delay their plans 

‘From where we were meant to be flying out to today to pick our wedding venue,’ he captioned the photos.

Among the images was a picture of the bride-to-be looking glamorous in a flowing white floral dress, standing next to Lee in front of a vineyard in the Tuscan hills.

The former journalist gazed adoringly at her beau as she held onto her straw hat.

Lee, clearly enjoying the romantic getaway, beamed for the camera as he relaxed in a smart white collared shirt and blue shorts.

Another image showed the lovebirds cuddling up for a selfie in front of a bridge.

In one sweet photo, Georgia planted a kiss on her groom-to-be’s cheek, as they enjoyed a boat ride around Venice.

The couple announced their engagement in September last year, after three years together.

Plumber Lee popped the question with a stunning diamond ring at the Hawkesbury River in NSW.

‘If you’re not busy for the next 50 or 60 years….’, Georgia captioned the snap, adding, ‘#YES!!’

The engagement took place at Lilypad, Palm Beach, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and costs between $2600-$3700 per weekend stay.

The glamorous pair managed to celebrate their engagement with a lavish party at the Coombe Yarra Valley in March, before government restrictions on mass gatherings were imposed.
