She’s previously hinted that ‘painful’ breakups inspired her new album Chromatica.

And newly revealed lyrics from one of Lady Gaga’s new album’s tracks, Fun Tonight, seem to allude to reasons behind her break up from former fiancé Christian Carino.

‘I feel like I’m in a prison hell,’ sings the 34-year-old on the track.

In 2019, sources hinted to Us Weekly that ‘jealousy’ may have played a part in the couple’s split last February.

‘Chris didn’t treat Gaga very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship,’ the source told the gossip publication.

‘He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot.’

Another lyric reads, ‘You love the paparazzi, love the fame, Even though you know it causes me pain.’

Gaga is now dating CEO Michael Polansky, whom she calls ‘the love of my life’.

Chromatica will be released at midnight Friday, with the songstress already pledging to donate up to $100,000k to the World Central Kitchen, in conjunction with Postmates, for orders made via the food delivery service over the album’s release weekend.

And Gaga took a hands-on approach to releasing her new album Chromatica when she delivered copies to retailers in person.

The singer–songwriter shared photos to her Instagram Wednesday of herself driving a truck covered in advertising for the album as she brought it to the people ahead of its release.

Her punky look was inspired by the album’s nü-metal–meets–Mad Max: Fury Road aesthetic, which she’s already showcased in the videos for Stupid Love and Rain On Me.

Gaga looked edgy in a pink mask framed by pointy metal studs and bearing her stylized Chromatica logo on the front.

She wore long bubblegum pink locks parted down the middle, leaving only her smoky eyes visible.

‘Delivering #Chromatica myself to every retailer around the world… in Chromatica time and distance do not exist,’ she captioned the photos.

In contrast with the metallic Barbarella-inspired bodysuits she’s worn in recent videos, the singer wore a simple white hoodie with burgundy tie-dye, which she gave a shout-out for in her caption.

After starting off her album promotion with the pink-tinged Stupid Love video back in February, Gaga reignited interest in the record with her Ariana Grande collaboration, Rain On Me.

The dance-friendly track featured the two pop stars performing easily imitated choreography in a post-apocalyptic urban wasteland.

The video was directed by Robert Rodriguez, 51, best known for directing Sin City, the Spy Kids films and Grindhouse, a collaborative double-feature with Quentin Tarantino.
