Bride and Prejudice star Micah Downey died at the age of 26 on Saturday, December 28 2019, after taking a mixture of illegal and prescription drugs.
Micah left behind his ex-fiancée Milly Johnson, who starred on the show with him, and the couple’s son Micah Harper Johnson, born on January 27.
Milly, 24, shared her grief in an Instagram post on Wednesday, six months since his passing, telling followers that sometimes she ‘almost forgets he is gone for good’.

Alongside a black and white photo of the former couple, Milly wrote online: ‘I just wanted to quickly touch on grief as it’s a feeling you can feel so alone with, yet obviously everyone goes through it or will go through it.
‘Even though our relationship had ended and so publicly, I still always thought Micah would be in our lives forever, even when at times we weren’t on speaking terms.’
Milly went on to reveal the pain she feels, particularly when seeing Micah in their children, son Micah and their firstborn son, Julian, two.
‘It can hurt so much some days, especially when I see so much of him in the boys. I’ve been having such vivid dreams of Micah lately and waking up feeling very sad.

‘I almost forget sometimes that he is truly gone for good, as when I plan to go back to the [United] States to visit [his] family, I just have this weird feeling he’ll be there.
‘Maybe that’s what funerals are for, for closure, as I was unable to attend Micah’s.’
The influencer concluded her post by referencing Facebook page Refuge In Grief, where others experiencing grief may ‘feel less alone’.

‘It is so sad and unbelievably surreal that I am making this post. On the 28th of December 2019, Micah Patrick Downey passed away,’ she wrote.
‘I am struggling to put into words how sad and heartbreaking this is. I just hope he is at peace wherever he is and that he will always be watching over his babies.
‘A bad, bad dream. I can’t believe you’re not here. Rest in peace, Micah.’

‘Feeling so much love for a little life that I delivered into the world on Monday 27 January 2020 at 6:46pm,’ she captioned a photo of herself and the newborn.
She added: ‘A healthy baby boy weighing 3680g (8lbs). Micah Harper Johnson.’
The former couple appeared on the 2019 season of Bride and Prejudice, but their relationship didn’t last and they split before walking down the aisle.
