Instagram infuencer Jadé Tuncdoruk says pandemic-affected brands are dropping her

Instagram star Jadé Tuncdoruk has revealed that the global pandemic has affected her business as an influencer. 

The 25-year-old, who makes a living spruiking products to her 442,000 followers, says she’s been dropped by brands she’s worked with for years. 

‘I’ve collaborated/worked with a few brands over time (a long time) who as of late have asked me to work for much, much less, or for free due to budget cuts – which I understand,’ she wrote on Instagram. 

She added: ‘However when I’ve said no – which is in my opinion completely warranted – have completely written off the relationship. 

‘These are brands I’ve travelled with and promoted for years who just throw the relationship away because I’ve refused to work for free. 

‘I’m very surprised that these organisations are willing to throw relationships down the drain after such a long time’. 

According to The Daily Telegraph, the Sydney-based fashion and travel Instagrammer earns between $800 and $3000 per sponsored post.    

The brunette beauty was the first Australian influencer to win E! People’s Choice Award last year. 

She also celebrated her second anniversary with her boyfriend, Lachie Brycki, in December last year. 

The pair began dating in December 2017, after Lachie first met the Jadé while working as a bouncer at a nightclub. 

In 2017, the beauty explained she felt ‘uncomfortable’ in her own skin before she shed 15 kilos to transform her body. 

She told Daily Mail Australia at the time: ‘I went from having chocolate milk, Maccas and chips every single day to only eating fruit and veg, rice crackers and healthy cereals or toast for breakfast.’
