Courteney Cox wears a gingham mask as she stocks up on fresh produce at a farmers market in Malibu

Courteney Cox embraced her sporty side as she roamed through a farmers market in Malibu on Sunday. 

The 55-year-old Friends alum paired a plaid mask, navy shorts and a grey t-shirt on her outing to pick up some fresh vegetables, bread and yogurts.

While shopping up a storm at the open-air marketplace ahead of her Memorial Day plans, she put her gym-honed legs on full display. 

The Tv icon styled her signature dark hair down in a sleek ponytail and received a helping help from a man, who held two of her bags.

Amid California’s coronavirus lockdown, she has been isolating with her boyfriend Johnny McDaid, 43, and 15-year-old daughter Coco, who she shares with ex-husband David Arquette. 

Earlier this week, Cox, known for her role as Monica Gellar, shocked a 13-year-old super-fan, who threw a virtual Friends themed Bar Mitzvah. 

‘Oh, my gosh, hello!’ the newly minted teenager said as Courteney popped on screen, during his remote appearance on the Late Late Show Monday night.

Of his dedication to the show he said ‘I’ve watched it seven times,’ an answer that shocked the Cougar Town actress.

‘Seven time?! The whole series seven times?’ she asked shocked to which he said yes. ‘That’s incredible.’ 

She also gifted him with a foosball table because she was so ‘touched’ by his story.

The middle school student from Borehamwood, England opted to throw a virtual party as the original plans were scrapped due to the global pandemic.

‘I’m a big fan of the TV show Friends, which is why my invites has a big Friends theme,’ he said in a video from the event, of his invitations that were styled after the iconic Central Perk logo. 

‘I’ve come to a realization,’ he said reading a speech during his Bar Mitzvah. ‘The lyrics of the Friends theme tune starts with the words “So no one told you life was gonna be this way,” but the chorus of that song has the more uplifting line “I’ll be there for you and you’re there for me too.”

He originally planned to have his tables names after all of the characters, an orange couch for photo opportunities and a foosball table as characters Joey and Chandler had like their apartment.

When asked by James why he enjoys a show that ended years before he was born he said ‘You can relate to all the characters and it’s really funny.’
