‘I’m marrying a future doctor!’ The Veronicas’ Jessica Origliasso celebrates fiancé Kai Carlton’s graduation from afar as they continue to isolate in separate countries
The Veronicas’ Jessica Origliasso has been engaged to musician Kai Carlton since October 2019.
And on Sunday, the Australian singer paid tribute to her fiancé, who graduated this week with his associates in psychology and social humanities.
Sharing a loved-up photo alongside her beau, Jess, 35, wrote: ‘I would like to take this moment to say a huge congratulations to my beautiful fiancé on graduating’.

‘I think my family are genuinely shocked I’m marrying a future doctor. I love you, and I think you are phenomenal,’ she continued.
The pop singer revealed Kai managed to complete his associates in psychology and social humanities with ‘straight A’s & a 3.8 GPA’.
Different to the GPA system in Australia, a 3.8 Grade Point Average is equivalent to an A- letter or grade of 90-92 per cent in America.

The couple has been forced to spend self-isolation apart amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Jess is living with her family in Brisbane, while Kai is based in Los Angeles.
‘It’s been difficult being apart the last few months, but I have been so proud of your dedicated work towards a future in medicine and research,’ Jess continued.

Kai reshared the photo to his own account and wrote: ‘I’d spend years trying to get to you, just to spend a lifetime in light of your love.’
Back in October, the Untouched singer took to Instagram to announce that she and Kai had got engaged after a year of dating.
‘I’ve been happy crying for two hours. I’ve never felt so full,’ she added alongside a photo in which she showed off her engagement ring.
