‘Gracious exit!’ MasterChef fans praise Tracy Collins for her attitude as she’s ELIMINATED – after disappointing the judges with her overcooked kingfish

Tracy Collins was eliminated during Sunday’s episode of MasterChef: Back To Win.

The 44-year-old restaurateur fell into the bottom three, alongside Emelia Jackson and Reece Hignell, during round two of the fish butchery challenge.

Tracy disappointed the judges with her overcooked kingfish with chorizo and sweet corn using the double cutlet, that also lacked acidity.

‘Your dish didn’t look so good, given the beautiful piece of fish butchery that you were given,’ the judges explained to Tracy.

‘Your fish was also overcooked and the dish lacked acidity, [it] just offered no relief from the sauce.’

Tracy was not the only contestant to have overcooked her fish, with Emelia and Reece having also faced elimination.

The judges told Reece that while his crispy skin kingfish belly with vegetables and chicken stock ‘looked fantastic’, the fish was ‘overcooked’.

While Emelia not only overcooked her kingfish cioppino, the sauce was far ‘too salty’.

Tracy made a dignified exit from the franchise, telling the judges and her co-stars that she has grown as a person.
