Andy Cohen takes an edible after admitting he doesn’t ‘know what do with himself’ when his son Ben, one, is asleep

Andy Cohen has been spending plenty of precious one-on-one time with his 15-month-old son Ben while quarantined in NYC

But after laying Ben down for a nap on Saturday evening, the 51-year-old WWHL host admitted he did not ‘know what to do with [himself]’ and was struggling to make the most of his Memorial Day weekend.

‘I can’t play with Ben because he is sleeping, just so you know. And I made an executive decision, I am going to take an edible. And see where the night takes me,’ announced Cohen in a video shared to his Instagram Story.

Prior to nailing down his activity for Saturday night, Andy marveled at how boring it felt being in lockdown during what is considered one of the biggest partying weekends of the year.

‘It’s Saturday. Memorial Day weekend,’ listed Cohen. ‘And I am sitting here like a dummy in my apartment. Saying ‘Hi!”

The Bravo star held his phone in selfie mode as he captured footage of himself sitting on the couch in his apartment.

His salt and pepper hair was lightly tousled and he donned a cozy, dark green thermal shirt.

Though Andy was desperately searching for something to occupy his time, he made it clear that he was ‘Not gonna drink,’ ‘Not gonna smoke,’ and was not going to disturb his son’s rest.

Once he ingested the marijuana edible of his choice, he returned to his couch and put on some live footage taken during a concert he attended with Jimmy Fallon on Halloween.

In an interview with People published Thursday, Andy gushed over the bond he has formed with his one-year-old son.

He admitted that they are ‘madly in love’ with one another and that Ben’s personality has started to blossom.

‘[Ben is] walking now in a way that I can take him out on the street for walks, so that’s a totally new thing,’ said Cohen.

‘I wish that I could take him to the playground, but I just can’t yet, so I love taking him out on walks.’

He added: ‘I mean, it sounds really simple, but the way that he grabs my finger — it’s just really sweet.’

Andy has had to adjust how he raises his son due to fears surrounding the coronavirus and the closures of non-essential businesses/places.

Cohen, himself, knows the seriousness of the illness, having caught it in March and recovered fully.  He was forced to spend time away from his son.
