Ashlee Simpson flaunts her baby bump as she dances to her 2008 track Boys: ‘Excited for this baby’

Ashlee Simpson revealed she was expecting a son with husband Evan Ross during a gender reveal party earlier this month. 

‘Excited for this baby boy,’ the 35-year-old younger sister of Jessica Simpson captioned footage of herself dancing to her 2008 track Boys on Thursday.  

In the video uploaded to her Instagram Story, the singer shimmies to the tune’s chorus, which goes: ‘Boys, boys, boys.’ 

The 7th Heaven alum beamed, as she put her burgeoning baby bump on full display in a fitted black midi dress and kept her tresses styled under a hair wrap. 

The expectant mother, who also shares a four-year-old Jagger with Ross and son Bronx with ex-husband Pete Wentz, seemed pleased by her cheeky song choice.  

Two weeks ago, Simpson posted a video with her two children cutting into a cake, which unleashed an avalanche of blue sprinkles. 

While her eldest looked overjoyed to be having a brother, Simpson’s little girl seemed far from thrilled. 

‘We are pregnant and we are so excited to share it with everyone. Baby #3 ♥,’ the star captioned another post with her 31-year-old spouse earlier this month.

She added: ‘During this unprecedented time, we know pregnant women may be under greater stress which is why we are supporting @marchofdimes Mom and Baby #COVID19 Intervention and Support Fund. 

A source told People the couple very much wanted another child. 

‘Ashlee has been wanting another baby for a long time. They always wanted a big family!’ an insider revealed to the outlet.

The spouses became engaged in January 2014 and married the same year in August at his mother’s estate in Connecticut.
