Joel Edgerton goes shirtless and shows off his rugged looks as he enjoys a surf at Sydney’s Bondi Beach

He recently spent two weeks in self-isolation after a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands with girlfriend Christine Centenera. 

And on Monday, Australian actor Joel Edgerton showed off his rugged looks as he went for a surf at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach. 

The 45-year-old Boy Erased star sported a shaggy hairstyle and scruffy beard on the outing and even went shirtless at one point, as he changed out of his wetsuit.

He also rugged up on the day wearing a white hoodie, camouflage shorts and his signature beanie.

Joel – who is known for roles in the likes of The Secret Life of Us – looked relaxed as took in the dip in the ocean, before walking back to his car. 

It was no doubt a welcome break from the recent lockdown due to coronavirus.

On March 17, Joel flew into Australia from the Turks and Caicos Islands and spent two weeks in self-isolation, as was mandatory. 

He enjoyed the trip with his Vogue fashion editor girlfriend, Christine Centenera. 

Their mandatory self-isolation period ended on April 1.

They had arrived before the government ruled that Australians returning from overseas must spend their two-week quarantine period under supervision in hotels.

As a result, they were allowed to self-isolate at home. 

The couple had spent time at the Amanyara beach resort, which sits by the Caribbean island of Providenciales.

Joel and Christine first debuted their romance at GQ Australia’s Man of the Year Awards in Sydney on November 14, 2018.
