Chrissy Teigen admits she once bought a CELINE purse at Barneys just so she could use the bathroom without a guilty conscious

That must have been one expensive bathroom break.

Chrissy Teigen once bought a Celine purse at Barneys just so she could use their bathroom without a guilty conscious.

Celine bags can cost thousands of dollars, which means Chrissy, 34, spent quite the pretty penny to use their facilities.

It all came back to Chrissy after a fan reminded her of the purchase on Twitter on Tuesday.

‘One time I saw you at barneys and you bought a Celine bag so you wouldn’t feel guilty about asking to use the bathroom. I knew I loved you before but that solidified it,’ a fan pointed out on Twitter.

Chrissy acknowledged this sort of behavior was typical of her.

‘Wowowowow anyone that knows me knows this is very true all too often,’ she replied.

A friend concurred she had witnessed Chrissy behave similarly around her, and reminded her of the time she purchased five wedding dresses out of guilt.

‘Sort of like that time you bought like 5 wedding dresses you knew you would never actually wear because you felt guilty about “just trying on dresses” which is precisely the point of TRYING ON wedding dresses I love you,’ the friend texted in a screenshot posted by Chrissy.

In all caps, Chrissy replied, ‘THOSE WENT TO GREAT HOMES.’

Chrissy has been self-isolating at home with her husband John Legend and their two children, but recently has been embroiled in a bit of drama with food columnist Alison Roman.

Alison came under fire after throwing shade at Chrissy’s Cravings empire earlier this month, and now it has been reported her New York Times column has been suspended, according to The Daily Beast

A spokesperson for the column told The Beast the column is now on ‘temporary leave.’

Chrissy was hurt to hear the remarks from Alison, who has since issued an apology.
