Kristin Cavallari’s former best friend Kelly Henderson is clearing up rumors that she was the cause of the reality star’s recent split from husband Jay Cutler.
During an appearance on the All’s Fair podcast, hosted by divorce attorney to the stars Laura Wasser, Kelly flatly denied that she had an affair with Cutler and added that she has ‘nothing to do with their divorce.’
Rumors of a tryst between Kelly and Jay had been swirling on and off for years and Kristin even addressed them at one point on her show, Very Cavallari, emphatically saying that she didn’t believe it.

In light of the couple’s split after a decade together – as well as a questionable social media post from Kelly – fans recently doubled down on their speculation that she had something to do with the failed marriage.
During the podcast, Wasser had questioned her as to whether she was currently dating the former NFL star to which Kelly replied ‘no.’
‘I’m just gonna go ahead and put this out there, there was never an affair, I have nothing to do with their divorce and I am not dating Jay Cutler,’ Kelly said point blank.
At this point, the stylist explained that she doesn’t have much of a relationship either Kristin or Jay these days.

Despite their ‘space,’ Kelly found herself in the middle of what was shaping up to be a messy divorce between the celebrity couple.
Early in May, she shared a post to Instagram which showed a burly, muscled man’s arm holding a cocktail, seated next to her at sunset.
She didn’t tag whomever the arm belonged to and captioned the shot: ‘Much needed happy hour. Happy Friday y’all.’

Her comments section became flooded with theories that the man in the photo being Cutler.
‘I think it “might” be jay,’ one person pointed out. ‘If you look through his pictures you’ll see that he wears those beaded bracelets on his right wrist. Super sketchy’
Many commenters echoed a similar sentiment that, whomever the man was, the post was in poor taste.

Ironically this type of behavior on Kelly’s part seems to be exactly why her former friendship with Kristin disintegrated in the first place.
On Very Cavallari, Kristin had said that she never believed the rumors about Jay and Kelly having an affair but her problem was with how Kelly managed the situation.
‘It wasn’t the actual accusations of them having an affair that made me upset, it was how Kelly went about it,’ she said in an episode earlier this year.
During the podcast, Kelly did reveal that the mystery man in the image is her boyfriend and her boyfriend is not Jay Cutler.

Currently, the former couple are locked in a battle over their home as Kristin claims Jay is ‘punishing’ her financially by not allowing her to get her own place.
According to TMZ, Kristen filed court documents saying that Jay won’t leave their marital home in Tennessee but is also trying to prevent his estranged wife from purchasing her own house, something they first discussed last year when they were having problems in their marriage.
Kristin claims that last year she started the buying process when the couple were having difficulties but she put the process on hold when they decided to give their marriage another shot.
In the new court filing, Kristin claims that living in the same house has ‘created a bad environment’ for their children, Camden, seven, Jaxon, five, and Saylor, four, because Jay has been trying to pick fights with her in front of them.
