Holly Willoughby showed off her cheeky side on Tuesday’s This Morning as she playfully covered her chest with two bowls.

The presenter, 39, and co-host Phillip Schofield, 58, spoke to Alice Beer during a picnic segment via video where she showed off a collection of stylish accessories.

Alice, 55, got over excited when she unveiled two bamboo bowls and started singing Me Ol’ Bamboo from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

To which Holly, who had her own version in the studio, cheekily covered her chest with the two bowls and looked coyly at the camera while the song played over.  

Phillip was left in hysterics over the stunt as he giggled: ‘Oh, it gets me every time!’

With a cheeky Holly adding: ‘I couldn’t resist, sorry!’

Holly also teased that she plans as boozy picnic after lockdown and grabbed some wine glasses, to which she quipped: ‘These are mine!’

Yet the scenes didn’t go down well with viewers at home who complained that it was ‘distasteful’ to feature a picnic segment during a global pandemic and UK lockdown. 

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has relaxed some lockdown rules and has said picnics with your own household in public spaces is now permitted.  

One person said: ‘Just because we *can* go to the park and have a picnic, doesn’t necessarily mean we *should*… #ThisMorning.’

A different viewer put: ‘Only a total moron would think a picnic was a good idea in the middle of a b****y crisis.. #thismorning.’

While another show watcher commented: ‘@thismorning what’s with all the segments on #ThisMorning we had caravans and clamping, picnics, I am in protective isolation as me and my partner are high risk and cant go anywhere.’ 

It comes after Holly enjoyed a Zoom call with Emma Bunton and their other gal pals on Friday.  

The TV star shared a snap of herself with her four friends on Instagram, with Holly looking particularly radiant as she appeared to go make-up free for the call.

The snap showed the five ladies smiling away at the camera as they caught up with each other during the virtual chat.

As well as Holly and Emma, the group also included All Saints star Nicole Appleton, PR guru Niki de Metz and Shiarra Bell, who is head of artist relations at Universal Music. 

Captioning the snap, Holly wrote: ‘Oh I miss these faces so much… apart and yet totally connected… miss my girls…’

The ladies have been pals for years and regularly enjoyed fun outings before the COVID-19 pandemic swept the nation.
