KIIS FM re-signs comedy duo Will And Woody following ratings success

‘Thrilled to be putting off getting a “real job” for another three years!’ KIIS FM re-signs comedy duo Will And Woody following ratings success

Radio stars Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw have amassed an army of fans since they launched their national drive show in 2018.

And the comedy duo’s popularity has clearly paid off, as the Australian Radio Network announced on Sunday that it has extended their contracts until 2023.

‘I am just so grateful that we have an opportunity to keep doing what we’re doing,’ Will said in an official press release.

‘Particularly in the current climate, it’s an incredible show of faith from ARN and it does nothing but fill us both with confidence to continue to grow and perform together,’ he added.

The affable radio host went on to praise the behind-the-scenes staff, family and friends responsible for supporting his ‘weird’ show.

‘All in all though, I absolutely love Woods and the idea that it’s a “job” to hang out with him every day is absurd,’ he added.

Woody meanwhile responded to the news with his typical tongue-in-cheek humour.

‘Absolutely thrilled to be putting off getting a “real job” for another three years,’ he mused.

‘It truly is a dream to be given the opportunity to spend every afternoon having fun with my best mate,’ he said, adding that he’s ‘super grateful’ for those who helped ‘bring the show to life’.
