The post that PROVES Locky Gilbert didn’t find love on The Bachelor

Production on The Bachelor was suspended in March due to the coronavirus.

And it looks like this season’s leading man Locky Gilbert didn’t find love before filming ceased.

Earlier this week, he shared a very telling Instagram post that all but proves that he hasn’t found love with one of the single bachelorettes from his season yet.

On Mother’s Day, the 30-year-old shared a photo of himself with a bouquet of flowers that he’d bought for his mum.

‘There is only one woman special enough for this amount of flowers,’ he captioned the photo.  

Locky was recently linked to Married At First Sight star Aleksandra Markovic after he was spotted in the background of one of her Instagram videos.

However, Aleks denied that there was anything going on between them, telling The Kyle and Jackie O Show that they had simply ‘hit it off as friends’ and nothing more.

Despite ’employing extra precautions’ amid the coronavirus pandemic, Channel 10  and Warner Brothers decided to halt production of The Bachelor back in March.

The network said the decision came after considering all other available options and revealed plans to resume filming as soon as it is deemed safe. 

Filming Locky’s season began in early March. It’s unclear what measures were put in place to reduce the risk of contracting coronavirus. 

Photos taken during filming caught Locky on a number of group dates and single dates.

At one point, the cast went into self-isolation and filmed ‘virtual dates’ over Zoom, but it’s unclear how long this continued for.

The wider narrative of the coronavirus pandemic will ‘form part of the story’ of The Bachelor’s eighth season.

About ‘one third’ of the season was filmed before production was suspended. It’s currently unclear when filming will resume.
