Jax Taylor admitted he had been unhappy, even after settling down with wife Brittany Cartwright.
The 40-year-old confessed his true feelings during an intervention with Stassi Schroeder on the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules.
Jax’s cheating past also reared it’s ugly head, with Brittany fearful he may be unfaithful to her yet again.

Jax shared his unhappiness while hosting a subdued pool party compared to a competing pool bash at Tom Sandoval’s house.
Stassi, 31, went to Jax’s pool party with new fiance Beau Clark, 39, determined to speak with Jax who alienated his friends with rampant rage texting.
‘I feel like with what you’ve kind of been doing and the way that you’ve texted people, I’m gonna tell you, from the outside, it looks like you’re losing your mind,’ Stassi frankly told him.
‘I am,’ Jax responded quickly.

In a confessional, Jax said his brain was ‘sprained’ and likened his situation to walking on a sprained ankle.
‘I’ve got a beautiful wife, a beautiful home. And, on paper, I look like I hit the lottery. But I’m still not happy,’ he told Stassi.
Jax claimed that he didn’t allow himself to have a good time and his ex Stassi called him out for sounding like ‘a little bit of a victim’.

She also told Jax that she wasn’t buying the idea that he was being mean to gain attention after his wedding to Brittany Cartwright, 31.
‘You’re an a**hole all the time,’ Stassi told him.
Jax said it was a ‘big year’ for him after he and Brittany moved on from his cheating scandal and they got married in Kentucky.
‘And now that the downtime’s here, it’s all coming back in. I’m thinking about my wedding and I’m like, it just was so quickly, and I feel like, did I do the right …It’s just all these things. And what I’m afraid of is if my wife is gonna be like, ”Do I not make you happy?” And that’s not the case at all,’ he said.
‘She is going to start thinking that,’ Stassi confirmed.
‘It’s hard. It really is hard. It’s a lot of pressure,’ Jax said as he got emotional and wiped his eyes.

‘We just got married, you know? We just got married,’ he added.
Stassi said she felt like he was ‘sabotaging it’ and he admitted, ‘You’re right.’
‘Listen, you’re allowed to struggle with your feelings, your emotions, your mental health, all of that. You have control over how you treat people, though,’ Stassi told him.

The penultimate season eight episode titled A Tale Of Two Pool Parties also showed Sandoval, 36, hosting his own pool party at his new house with Ariana Madix, 34.
The TomTom Bar co-owner after being disinvited by Jax held a rival bash that drew most of the cast, including: Tom Schwartz and wife Katie Maloney, Dayna Kathan, Charli Burnett, Peter Madrigal, Kristen Doute and Brian Carter as well as James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss.

James served as DJ at Sandoval’s pool party that included plenty of twerking, bubbles, dancing and drinking.
Sandoval and Schwartz earlier in the episode were offered a stake in the TomTom bar expansion planned by Lisa Vanderpump, 59, and her husband Ken Todd.

They both attended a comedy show in which Dayna performed a stand-up routine.
‘Oh, my god. This is so sweet that you guys both came to support your girlfriend,’ quipped Stassi who caught the comedy show with Beau and Lala Kent.

She also relayed that Stassi had mocked Ariana’s party causing her to storm off.
James and Katie also made up and hugged it out at the party after she acknowledged the gains he’s made since getting sober.
Vanderpump Rules will return next week for the season eight finale on Bravo.
