Dua Lipa and her beau Anwar Hadid appear to flout lockdown rules as they visit her parents’ home for dinner after isolating in a ‘random London AirBnB’

Dua Lipa and her boyfriend Anwar Hadid appeared to flout the UK government‘s lockdown rules as they visited her parents’ home for dinner on Tuesday evening.

The pop princess, 24, and the male model, 20, were pictured hopping into a black car following a family get-together in London, weeks after the couple announced they’re self-isolating in a ‘random AirBnB’.

In an address to the nation on Sunday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced Brits can visit a grandparent, a girlfriend or a boyfriend from outside their household if they sit two metres apart and remain outdoors, from Wednesday.

The chart-topping artist cut a casual figure as she dressed down in a baggy black jumper, teamed with straight-leg jeans and box-fresh trainers.

LA native Anwar looked equally low-key in a patterned shirt and ankle-grazing bottoms as he left Dua’s family home and headed to their next destination.

The social distancing rule states people, excluding those who live together, should stay 2m (6ft 6in) apart from other people in a bid to tackle the deadly virus.

The nation has had to avoid meeting up with loved ones since March 16, a week before the full lockdown came in on March 23.

The couple have been holed up in ‘a random Airbnb’ in the English capital, after returning home from her Australia tour to find her flat flooded.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, the New Rules hitmaker, who has just released her second album, said things are going well as she enjoys some rare down time with the brother of catwalk queens Gigi and Bella Hadid.

‘I’m still in the airbnb, it’s all good,’ Dua told the ITV show. ‘My boyfriend and I are used to it, we travel a lot so we can make anywhere home. I got back from Australia and when the self-isolation thing started to happen, I quickly had to find a spot.’

Elaborating on being with Anwar 24/7, the media personality insisted that ‘we’re good at doing our own things and then coming together when we want to watch a movie or do a painting and we go on our one hour daily walk’.

The songstress has been keeping in touch with friends and family around the world via Facetime, Zoom chats and phone calls, pointing out that ‘now is the time to make all those calls that you’ve been putting on the backburner. There are family members all over the world that I haven’t had a chance to call and talk to.

The busy star admitted that the crisis has made her reevaluate her lifestyle, explaining: ‘We’re all learning to take a little step back. Not everything needs to be so imminent.’

‘My job is always like, where am I going, what am I doing next? It doesn’t need to be so urgent. A lot of those meetings can just be an email.’

‘Maybe this is a wake up call to really start protecting our planet. I think we’ll have more empathy for people around the world who have had to deal with oppression. This doesn’t discriminate and we’re all going through it together.’
