And Kirk Norcross was putting his skills to good use as he cleaned his former TOWIE co-star James Argent’s driveway at his £1.3million home in Essex on Monday.

James, 32, hired Kirk’s KN Jet Services to help clean his driveway as the former reality star, also 32, was seen sprucing up the front of Arg’s home with a power-hose.

Kirk came well prepared as he brought his van and another co-worker with him for the job.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star looked in good spirits as he carried out the job and chatted with his old pal James.

Kirk was dressed in a black T-shirt and grey trousers along with a pair of wellies and a light grey hoodie.

James appeared to leave Kirk to the job as he got on his teal Vespa and was seen leaving the driveway.

Kirk was among the original TOWIE stars set to return to the show for a 10-year reunion featuring the likes of Mark Wright, Amy Childs, Sam Faiers and Lauren Goodger.

However, plans for the reunion were called off in the wake of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has seen several shows either halt or postpone production.

A source told OK! Online: ‘It’s a real blow for the producers, they thought they would make TV gold with the old cast reuniting but they just can’t make it work.

‘Of course they understand the severity of coronavirus and don’t want to put anybody at risk so have decided it’s best to call it off for now.

‘That’s not to say that it won’t happen in the future, but for the time being they’ve decided it’s best to put it on hold.’

It comes after Kirk admitted he is much happier nowadays since putting his reality TV career behind him.

Speaking to The Sun, Kirk said he found the world of fame to be a ‘brutal’ environment and has dramatically downsized his expenses since leaving it behind.

He said: ‘I used to buy Ferarris, expensive watches and designer jeans — now I’m happy with a £20 pair from Topman.

‘There is so much b******t going on when you live your life in the public eye. It can be toxic and you get surrounded by people who are fake and just hangers-on.

‘And it can be a very brutal environment. Now I get up, go to work, keep my head down and earn a living with a bigger smile on my face.’

Kirk admitted that appearing on reality TV turned him into a monster, but bosses didn’t want to do anything to help the monster they created.

The TV star added that he has come off Twitter as he no longer wanted to be exposed to comments from social media trolls.

Kirk believes trolling can be particularly hard for young people who are on reality shows to deal with, particularly if they experience a dip in their level of fame.

He now hopes to use his experiences with fame to speak to schoolchildren about the dangers of online bullying.

The ex reality star added that he sometimes sees re-runs of TOWIE and has to do a double take as his life is so different now to the way it was.
