Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills: Lisa Rinna cracks joke about Lori Loughlin and college scandal

Lisa Rinna cracked a joke about Lori Loughlin’s prosecution in the college admissions scandal on Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

The 56-year-old actress during the season 10 episode talked to her model daughter Amelia, 18, who was on track with her application to the University of Southern California.

‘Good, because I’m not going to put you on a rowing machine and take a picture of you and say that …’, Lisa told Amelia while they were having juice outdoors.

‘That was the wrong thing to say. I’m trying to get into USC here. I’m like, let’s not,’ Amelia told Lisa who was laughing at her own joke.

‘I’m joking. I would never, ever do that. I wouldn’t,’ Lisa said.

Federal prosecutors last month released photos of Lori’s daughter Olivia Jade, 20, and Isabella Rose, 21, on a rowing machine claiming the 55-year-old actress and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, 56, supplied them as part of a scheme to get their daughters into USC on fraudulent rowing scholarships.

Lori and Mossimo were accused of paying $500,000 as a donation to Key Worldwide Foundation in order to get Olivia and Isabella into the school on the rowing team, when neither of them had trained in the sport. They both have pleaded not guilty and await trial.

Amelia was back in Los Angeles after battling with anxiety in New York City while juggling modeling and college.

‘I’m going to figure out my anxiety next week. It’s just like pretty bad, and, I don’t know, I want to get evaluated,’ she told her mom.

Lisa pointed out that Amelia had come a long way after revealing more than a year ago that she suffered from anorexia.

‘But when I was in New York after Kyle’s fashion show, I was able to spend some time with Amelia, and in spending time with her, I could see she was in trouble,’ Lisa said.

Amelia explained how her anxiety overwhelms her.

‘When I’m in situations that I don’t want to be in or that I’m afraid of, all of my decision making tactics and my brain shut down and I just start shaking and I start freaking out. I’ve thrown up before,’ she said.

They both agreed that Amelia was better off in Los Angeles.

A producer asked Lisa what was ‘at stake’ for Amelia if she had stayed in New York.

‘I think what was at stake for Amelia if she stayed in New York was her life,’ the soap opera star said in a confessional.

‘Would she become suicidal? Would she make a bad choice in a split second because of depression? You do not f*** around with that when you have a teenager,’ she added.

Lisa said the plan was to get Amelia back in school after getting her anxiety under control.

‘And that’s going to take a lot of work,’ she said.

Lisa asked Amelia what she had done to apply to USC and she updated her mom about having all the math requirements to transfer.

Her daughter’s achievement prompted Lisa to make the crack about the rowing machine picture.

The episode titled All’s Fair In Glam And War opened with Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke headed to a wellness retreat hosted by Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, 38.

Kyle was upset that Dorit showed up late, in part, due to getting all glammed up.

Dorit and Kyle argued about it during the retreat while Dorit was meditating with her clients.

Denise Richards, 49, also arrived late, but it was overshadowed by Kyle and Dorit bickering.

‘Do not try to make me look bad. …You’re making me look like I am a selfish diva,’ Dorit told Kyle over dinner.

Denise and husband Aaron Phypers, 47, also hosted dinner at their new house in Malibu complete with a diamond-shaped ice sculpture.

Kyle was confused by the fancy touch.

‘This is not the Denise I know. New house, who dis?,’ Kyle said in a confessional.

The conversation turned to lesbian trysts and threesomes making Denise uncomfortable since her daughters were within earshot.

It went further south when Dorit started making remarks about Kyle and Teddi after they recently shared a bed together.

Kyle pointed out that she defends Dorit all the time and even lost one of her closest friends, Lisa Vanderpump, over sticking up for her.

‘I would defend all my girlfriends because I’m not friends with a**holes,’ Kyle said.
