Nikki Bella is feeling ‘very uncomfortable’ after developing a hemorrhoid.

The Total Bellas star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Artem Chingvintsev and was horrified to discover her ‘butt [was] bleeding’ because of an enlarged vein in the anal area, common side effect of pregnancy.

Speaking on her Bellas Podcast after her twin sister Brie – who is also pregnant – asked how her ‘butt’s doing’, she said: ‘Okay, first of all, I fixed it. Secondly, Brie, so what she’s talking about – and you know what, anyone who’s ever been pregnant is gonna feel me on this; at least I hope so – you guys, I got the biggest hemorrhoid. And it sucks.’

She added, ‘I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding. Thank god it wasn’t the front – it was the back!

‘And I’m like, “Oh my gosh. My butt’s bleeding. This is terrible.” And I woke up the next morning and I had a full, sticking out hemorrhoid!

‘Imagine a dingleberry actually being a part of your skin. That’s how it feels. I have something in between my butt cheeks that I can feel when I walk and it’s very uncomfortable.’

The 36-year-old former wrestler has been taking a bath every night to alleviate the pain and admitted she’s growing increasingly ‘miserable’ because of the hot weather and her growing frame.

She said: ‘I’m already kind of getting in the stage where I’m getting a little uncomfortable in my body.

‘And now I have a hemorrhoid. And it’s hot out. And it’s just miserable, I’m not gonna lie.’

WHAT IS A HEMORRHOID?

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the lowest part of your rectum and anus.

Sometimes the walls of these blood vessels stretch so thin that the veins bulge and get irritated. Swollen hemorrhoids are also called piles.

Hemorrhoids are one of the most common causes of rectal bleeding.

They’re rarely dangerous, but one should see your doctor to make sure you don’t have a more serious condition.

Hemorrhoids often go away on their own, but treatments can also help.

Internal hemorrhoids are far enough inside the rectum that they cannot be seen or felt.

They don’t generally hurt because there are few pain-sensing nerves there.

External hemorrhoids are under the skin around the anus, where there are many more pain-sensing nerves.

Symptoms of external hemorrhoids include: Pain, Bleeding, Itching, Swelling, Pressure building up in your lower rectum can affect blood flow and make the veins there swell.

Causes may be straining when doing physically hard, like lifting something heavy, extra weight, like obesity, pregnancy, when your growing uterus presses on your veins or a diet low in fiber.

Nikki also told her sister she is ‘not gonna be happy’ if she has to deal with such discomfort during her labour.

Brie quipped: ‘All the beauties of being pregnant!’

This comes after Nikki said she ‘stuffed her desire’ for marriage and kids ‘as deep as she could’ when she was with John Cena.

The star was desperate to have a baby with her former partner but because he wasn’t interested on having kids, she shelved her plans to become a mother.

She said: ‘Rather than turn and face that, I pushed it under the carpet and figured I could pretend like it wasn’t there.

‘Because I was terrified of losing my love, I stuffed my desire for marriage and kids as deep as I could.

‘He had made it clear that they weren’t on the menu for him. That’s tough, though, because if you’re inclined that way, then the more you grow to love someone, the more you want it all.

‘I stopped giving voice to those needs, though.

‘I was worried my ex would call it off and let me go. And while I wanted those things very badly – I just wanted him more.’

And Nikki admits she has ‘many regrets’ about her relationship with John as she struggled with ‘feelings of loneliness and abandonment’ because of her relationship with her father.

Writing in her new memoir, Incomparable, she added: ‘I have many regrets about that relationship.

‘The primary one is that I wish I’d known myself better before I got into it. I wish I’d understood how the patterns in my life, and my relationship with my own father, informed how I react to love, boundaries, and feelings of abandonment.

‘I think I could have averted some of what happened.’

She added, ‘Because my dad left when I was 15, I learned how to fill in the holes. I expect to be left behind and to find a way to not confront or acknowledge those feelings of loneliness and abandonment.’
