Michelle Bridges announced her shock split with Steve ‘Commando’ Willis in January.

And in the wake of their relationship breakdown, the celebrity personal trainers have got competitive with their respective fitness journeys.

Both Michelle, 49, and Steve, 43, have shared daily workouts to Instagram, encouraging their fans to use their body weight to help tone and define their figures.

Hunkering down at her country estate amid the coronavirus pandemic, Michelle has treated followers to short yet intense workouts, from her living room and patio.

On April 18, Michelle gave fans a rundown on her staple core exercises, using everyday props such as cushions and magazines.

While on April 24, the mother-of-one shared her five minute booty and thigh sequence, using no equipment.

Thursday also saw Michelle encouraging fans to join her free Facebook training session on Friday, May 8.

Meanwhile, Steve, who is based in inner Sydney city, has continuously updated his 118,000 Instagram following with ‘regular body weight workouts’, incorporating dumbbells, kettle-bells, barbells and sandbags ‘for greater resistance’.

On Thursday, the former Biggest Loser trainer shared his barbell routine, encouraging fans to let him know ‘how they go’ on Instagram.    

The workouts come amid a challenging past few months for the former couple.

Michelle blew 0.086 when she was pulled over in her Range Rover with their four-year-old son Axel in the car, about 11.25am on Australia Day.

After she was charged on January 26, Michelle released a statement claiming she was going through a ‘very difficult time’ following her split from Steve.

Michelle and Steve met while filming The Biggest Loser in 2007, at a time when they were both in relationships with other people.

They began dating in 2015, after splitting from their respective partners, and welcomed Axel in December that year.
