She’s been dating Northern Irish musician Johnny McDaid since 2013.

And Courteney Cox admitted during an appearance on Ellen At Home that having to be apart from the Snow Patrol rocker during the coronavirus pandemic isn’t easy.

‘I have not seen him for so long,’ the former Friends star, 55, told Ellen DeGeneres on her daytime chat show. ‘We spend a lot of time on Facebook but I just miss his physical touch. This is hard.’

The COVID-19 crisis has hit home for Courteney in other ways too.

She revealed she has had some friends staying with her at her Malibu mansion and that both had contracted the virus after leaving for three days and then returning.  

‘In those three days, they both got COVID,’ she explained. ‘One was completely asymptomatic and the other one, it took him down.

She went on: ‘He had symptoms, three days after that he was in the hospital on a ventilator, kidneys shut down… this a very young athletic guy… and his husband was completely asymptomatic.’

The actress said her friend is now out of the hospital but that’s ‘a miracle.’

‘It really was it was scary,’ she told Ellen.

Meanwhile, Courteney’s BFF and former co-star Jennifer Aniston is holed up with her dogs Sophie and Clyde in her Bel-Air mansion and on Wednesday, she shared on social media that she is ‘bored’.

In a short video clip shared to her Instagram Story, Jennifer, 51, sat watching her washing machine go round while paying Tyga’s hit single Bored In The House.

She also posted a string of clips of Schnauzer-mix Clyde enjoying a sniff around the backyard. 

She filmed the pup as she followed him around shrubbery and chased after toys she threw for him.
