‘Let’s make margaritas, by Rita’: Singer Ora wears sporty crop top to whip up tasty frozen tequila cocktails in her kitchen for hilarious Instagram tutorial

Rita Ora showed her sassy side on Instagram on Tuesday when she shared a hilarious Instagram tutorial on how to make frozen margaritas.

The 29-year-old used her own brand of tequila to make the drink, as well as a Nutribullet because she didn’t have a cocktail shaker to hand.

Showing off her toned abs, Rita looked incredible in a sporty crop top as she got to work in her kitchen amid the coronavirus lockdown.

She said: ‘I’m going to do something that I am pretty good at doing… drinking. Basically I am going to show you how to make my very own Margarita by Rita.

‘Using my tequila, to celebrate Cinco De Mayo which was on May 5. It basically means everyone drinks alcohol.

‘Seeing as we are all safely in our own homes and quarantining, I hope we are not all getting crazy… that’s meant to be a joke.’

Getting her ingredients together, she said: ‘To start, I don’t have a shaker. I like to make things up. I’m using my Nutribullet to make a frozen margarita.

‘Finger crossed this works. I am using sugar water. I’ve got lime, salt, my tequila, Prospero Blanco, which is one of my faves. I have a few different ones.

‘Excuse my accent and the way I say. I am English, so I say it in an English way.

‘If you don’t have sugar water, then you can use maple syrup mixed with water. I don’t know if I am doing this right, but I know it tastes good. I’m going to be drinking it all.’

Teaching fans how to make her favourite drink, she said: ‘You need two cups of ice, lime juice, and if you have some excess lime, squeeze that in too.

‘Two shots of tequila, because why not? Then put it all in the blender. If you have a shaker, then lucky you.’

Having a taste, Rita exclaimed: ‘Wow it’s strong,’ adding ‘this is when the music is going to play. If you want, you can hvave a taste.’

Putting the finishing touches to her drink, Rita salted the rim of her glass.

‘I like to put the salt on the outside of the glass, not the inside, then pour away, José. Ta-dah!

‘I hope you have enjoyed my class and happy Cinco De Mayo!’
