Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s sprawling California mansion nears completion

The sprawling California home purchased by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra is close to completion, six months after the couple paid a reported $20million for the three-acre estate.

The couple are currently adhering to strict social distancing measures in the fight against coronavirus COVID-19 by remaining behind closed doors at the enormous Encino property they share with their pet dogs.

And overheard views reveal a stunning home absent of builders, suggesting any residual construction work was completed well ahead of the imposed lockdown.

With prime views across San Fernando Valley, the property boasts a large outdoor infinity pool and split-level gardens – perfect for whiling away the long-hours during self-quarantine. 

Inside, the home is no less impressive, with guests welcomed through a large entry hall furnished with tasteful, wood-paneled ceilings and inset lighting. 

Above, a glass embellished mezzanine floor looks down at the peers down at the entrance and an adjoining living room, where an enormous marble fire-place serves as a stunning focal point. 

Elsewhere the spacious dining room and kitchen feature sliding glass walls that can be pushed aside to offer incredible views of the property’s mountainous surroundings.   

Nick, 27, and Priyanka, 37, are understood to have purchased their new home in November, little more than a month before celebrating their first wedding anniversary. 

As well as offering incredible views, the property is conveniently located just three miles from the $14.1 million purchased by Nick’s older brother Joe Jonas, 30, and his reportedly pregnant wife, Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. 

Upstairs there are no less than seven-bedrooms, while 11-bathrooms are situated throughout the property’s 20,000 square-feet of space. 

Despite California remaining on lockdown, there’s no excuse for boredom at the Jonas-Chopra residence, with a two-lane bowling alley, gymnasium, wet bar, indoor basketball court and enormous screening room available for the couple to use to their leisure.  

Speaking to the Architectural Digest in November, Nick admitted he and Priyanka were keen to redesign their new home’s interior in accordance with their differing tastes. 

He said: ‘I’m on tour, and she’s shooting a movie, so we’re kind of between homes at the moment. But we’re very excited to set up our home together and take those risks, try different things. 

‘We can go to the drawing board again if it’s not feeling right and re-create it. We’ll take our time to get that right because there’s certainly no rush.’
