Larry Emdur’s wife ‘SINKS his $72,500 boat’ at their Neverfail Bay home

Larry Emdur’s wife ‘SINKS his $72,500 boat while going for driving lessons’ – and breaks the bad news to him on Instagram

Larry Emdur and his wife, Sylvie, recently purchased a $1.1million waterfront home in Berowra Waters, in northern Sydney, which is only accessible by boat.

But disaster struck on Monday when Larry, 55, was busy hosting Channel Seven’s The Morning Show.

While he was at work, Sylvie accidentally sank her husband’s $72,490 boat – or so it seemed.

The accident happened at their ironically-named holiday home, Neverfail Bay.

She captioned a photo of the sinking boat: ‘Boat driving lesson [tick emoji]. Hope she’s all the way under by the time Larry gets home.’

Sylvie’s followers were shocked by the blasé nature of her post, with many refusing to believe she had actually sank her husband’s boat.

Larry also seemed unfazed by his wife’s decision to break the news via Instagram, which suggests they were both in on a joke.

‘What did I tell you about trying to drive the boat whilst patting the dog, checking your Insta and sipping your latte?’ he commented.

Upon closer inspection, the sinking boat wasn’t actually the $72,490 Haines Signature 602F Larry had bought in January.

The Emdurs were simply joking with their Instagram followers, which is something they are known to enjoy.

Earlier this week, Larry raised eyebrows when he showcased his most recent purchase on Instagram.

He shared a photo of himself holding a brand new shovel, a tarpaulin, a roll of duct tape, rope and plastic gloves – the sort of tools used by a serial killer.

‘I know it looks a little strange so I just wanted to log this with you before the lady in the store called 000 about a creepy guy,’ he wrote in the caption, adding the cheeky hashtag #NothingToSeeHere.
