The Bachelor’s Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne enjoy a family outing with daughter Marlie-Mae

Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne looked like a picture of happiness during a family outing in Sydney on Monday.

The former Bachelor stars were accompanied by their 11-month-old daughter Marlie-Mae and their beloved three-legged dog, Buster.

Last week, Matty, 32, joked that he and Laura ‘still haven’t killed each other’ despite being in isolation together for ‘over five weeks’ after the coronavirus pandemic forced the country in lockdown.

But they showed no signs of being strained on their outing, and seemed happy and relaxed as strolled through Bondi Beach together.

A smiling Matty showed off his recently acquired moustache as he pushed Marlie-Mae’s pram.

His brown hair appeared windswept, and he donned a pair of small golden-brown acetate sunglasses.

Matty stepped out in black shorts, which he paired with a black hooded sweatshirt, worn over a white T-shirt.

He also wore black sneakers with black sports socks pulled up around his calves.

Meanwhile, Laura, 34, was also dressed in activewear for their walk, opting for a pair of black exercise tights.

The couple chatted as they walked along the pathway opposite the beach, grinning as they spoke.

In an interview with Studio 10 last Thursday, the engaged couple revealed they’d had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic.

They said they’d been hoping to tie the knot sometime this year, but were now looking at dates in 2021.

‘We’re working towards 2021, maybe spring… a spring wedding I think could be on the cards,’ Matty told the show via video link.

But he confessed that even without the coronavirus foiling their original plans, they were unorganised when it came to finalising anything.

‘I was meant to put a date in the diary for a venue, but I didn’t do that. But it’s kind of worked in our benefit now,’ he added.
