Bachelor star Brittany Hockley is jovial as she goes for a walk in Bondi

Bachelor star Brittany Hockley detailed the stress she felt due to the coronavirus pandemic back in March. 

But the 32-year-old looked to be back at her best on Sunday, while enjoying a brisk walk with a male pal in Bondi. 

Brittany was spotted smiling and laughing while on the promenade, getting in some fresh air and soaking-up the morning sun.

The Bachelor finalist was all smiles as she strutted down the walkway with her friend in tow as they chatted with each other. 

They looked to be in high spirits, clearly picking up the pace at one point.   

Brittany opted to wear black workout gear, including a fitted spray jacket along with tight black bike shorts.

She completed her outfit with white Fila joggers and a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses. While she wore her trademark brunette hair back. 

Brittany’s male pal also wore fitted activewear, including a Nike track top, Adidas shorts, and a pair of black joggers.  

Brittany is a radiographer working at a clinic and has confirmed the bleak situation at clinics amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In March, she shared a photo of herself dressed in scrubs, a surgical mask and plastic gloves, alongside a sobering caption.

‘Stop being idiots. I get that the fact you can’t see it gives you a sense of confidence and comfort. But it’s real,’ she wrote, referring to the novel coronavirus.  

The healthcare professional went on to explain she had witnessed extremely stressful situations while working at a clinic.

‘Seeing patients abuse doctors, nurses, radiographers, receptionists and other staff for the waiting time and the ‘treatment’ they are getting is disgraceful,’ she wrote.

‘Yelling at healthcare workers because they are caught getting a drink of water (can guarantee it’s probably the first break they’ve taken in 12 hours) is disgraceful.’ 

She claimed doctors were telling her they were going without proper protective equipment while seeing patients.

Later that month, Brittany revealed she had been struggling with mental health.   

Addressing her Instagram, Brittany said she’s ‘cried many times’ over the uncertainty of the situation, and has felt ‘scared, stressed and tired’. 

Alongside a photo of her bikini-clad self looking out into the distance, Brittany began told fans it was fine to not be okay.

‘Just out here looking for 2021 like… Today, I want to tell you that it’s okay to not be ok,’ she wrote. 

The brunette went on to say that while it’s all well and good to focus on your physical health while at home, your mental health is just as important.  

‘As a mental health advocate, I’m here to remind you that with everything going on, every single person is struggling, everyone is facing things they haven’t before and never imagined they would face. We are all facing so much uncertainty,’ she said.

‘I am scared, stressed, tired, worried. My motivation is at an all time low right now, and I’ve cried many times,’ she continued.

Brittany urged her followers to reach out to friends and family if they’re feeling the weight of the world, and to check in on others. 

Ending the post on a positive note, the Sydney-based TV personality reminded her followers that ‘it’s okay to not be okay’ and ‘we are all in this together’.
