Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden signs with influencer agency

Not so shy anymore! Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden signs with an influencer agency following glamorous makeover after the show

Fan favourite Connie Crayden is the latest Married At First Sight star to sign with an agency to kickstart her career as an Instagram influencer.

The 27-year-old came across as the shy girl next door while on the controversial series, but she has since transformed into a glamourous influencer after filming wrapped.

Now the marine biology student has signed with Society Eight Management, who also represent Married At First Sight stars Tamara Joy and Samuel Levi, from the New Zealand version of the show.

Is she the next Kylie Jenner? Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden has signed on with a top influencer agency after undergoing a glamorous makeover

The agency also represents Love Island Australia stars Cassie Lansdell and Isabelle Grace, as well as The Block’s Elise and Matt.

Despite coronavirus putting a dampener on this season’s casts’ emerging influencer careers, most have signed with talent agencies.

Mishel Karen signed with Melbourne-based PR and marketing agency Modern Currency last month.

Cathy Evans, who recently called Connie a ‘mean girl’, is signed with THE.mgmt, who also looks after Jules Robinson, Cam Merchant, Mikey Pembroke and Elizabeth Sobinoff.

Stacey Hampton previously signed with Neon Model Management, who look after stars from international shows, such as Love Island UK and Vanderpump Rules.

Arguably the biggest Married At First Sight star PR representative is Max Markson, who signed Amanda Micallef, Tash Herz, Tash Spencer, Hayley Vernon, Steve Burley, Chris Nicholls, and Aleks Markovic, just from the last season alone.

Connie recently warned future Married At First Sight applicants that if they make it onto the show, they will be edited into a ‘character’.

‘It’s not just heroes and villains. You are characters on a TV show. You play a character on a TV show. That I cannot stress enough,’ Connie said on Instagram.

‘You’re a real person but you are still a character. With some creative editing they can make you look however they want. Just because you’re not a villain doesn’t mean you can’t be portrayed in a negative way,’ she added.
