Antonio Banderas dons lycra running gear as he heads out for a jog

He has been isolating in his Marbella home during the coronavirus pandemic.

And Antonio Banderas was spotted heading out on Saturday, after Spain relaxed their legislation to allow outdoor exercise again during the crisis.

The actor, 59, showed off his sporty physique in a red jacket teamed with a pair of Nike running joggers, red trainers and a cap.

The Zorro star was seen leaving his Spanish villa ready to enjoy a jog for the first time in seven weeks, since the lockdown was enforced in March.

The lockdown is one of the strictest across Europe and although adults are now allowed to exercise, the amount of outdoor time is still restricted.

Residents have been granted time slots depending on their age group. The majority of adults can walk or take part in sports between 6am and 10am, and 8pm and 11pm. 

The current death toll from the virus in Spain stands at 24,824. Italy has the highest morality rate, followed by the UK and then Spain.

It was announced that from Monday it will be compulsory for all members of public to wear a mask while using public transport services.

Antonio is isolating at home with his 38-year-old Dutch investment adviser girlfriend Nicole Kimpel, who is 21 years his junior.

He has been dating Nicole since his split from his second wife Melanie Griffith in 2014.

The couple were previously married for 18 years and share daughter Stella, 23. 

Antonio remains close with the Oscar nominee, 62, who recently attended a screening of his film Pain & Glory with her daughter Dakota (with ex-husband Don Johnson).
