Zoë Foster-Blake reveals an online children’s toy retailer charging $999 for express shipping

‘Seems reasonable!’ Zoë Foster-Blake reveals online children’s toy retailer charging $999 for express shipping… or standard for FREE

Zoë Foster-Blake has shared staggering shipping fee being requested by an online retailer of children’s toys.

The mother-of-two, 39, was trying to buy a children’s bow and arrow worth $24.95 online on Friday, when she stumbled upon an outrageous express postage price.

While standard shipping was completely free, the express shipping asked for a whopping $999, bringing the total value of the plastic children’s toy to $1023.95.

To make matters worse, the express shipping was set to arrive between May 5 and 8, while the standard shipping was estimated to arrive May 6.

‘Seems reasonable,’ Zoë hilariously captioned her Instagram story, which showed a screen grab of the item.

It’s unclear if the outrageous shipping price was correct, or perhaps a glitch or a mistake, however.

Zoë and her husband Hamish Blake are probably one of the few Australians who could afford the steep shipping price, as New Idea reported the comedian earned $2million per year with Channel Nine.

The 38-year-old Lego Masters host earns the astonishing annual salary with a three-year contract renewed every 18 months.

‘He is Nine’s anointed son. From the execs to the publicists to the marketing department, he is universally loved,’ a network insider told the magazine.

‘He can do no wrong and in return gets an extraordinary ongoing multimillion-dollar contract to keep him away from rival networks,’ they added.

Hamish has been delivering top ratings for the network this year, thanks to the smash success of Lego Masters season two.

The family-friendly reality show, which focuses on competitive Lego building, premiered with a metro audience of 1.23 million – the highest audience for any entertainment show of 2020.

Hamish and Zoë share two children together – Sonny, five, and Rudy, two.
