She said what?! Today show host Karl Stefanovic is shocked by Allison Langdon’s awkward joke about ‘not wearing pants’ during a live broadcast
Karl Stefanovic certainly is afraid of having a laugh while hosting the Today show.
But on Thursday, his cheeky sense of humour came at the expense of his co-anchor Allison Langdon when he made a rather awkward joke.
The pair were discussing with newsreader Alex Cullen ‘who wants the pants’ at the desk when Allison made a rather unfortunate comment, which Karl immediately jumped on.

Karl joked that his female colleague ‘definitely wears the pants’, which prompted Allison to say she wasn’t actually wearing pants to work that day.
‘Not today. I’m not wearing pants today,’ she said jovially, referring to the fact she was wearing a dress.
Alex Cullen said ‘woah!’ before Karl feigned shocked at the apparently racy remark.

Karl won’t let it go, however, and took advantage of the on-air gaffe by singing the lyrics to Nelly’s hit single Hot in Here while fanning himself down.
It comes after Allison unleashed her wrath on her sidekick earlier this month when he revealed that he lets his pregnant wife, Jasmine Yarbrough, clean the house.

The father-of-three explained that he and Jasmine ‘divide the chores’, but Ally disagreed said that Karl should do all of the household tasks.
‘You let your pregnant wife, your eight-month pregnant wife, clean the bathroom and the toilets?’ she asked in disbelief.
Sensing he was in trouble, Karl swiftly ended the discussion and moved on to the next segment.
