Chip and Joanna Gaines’ DIY Network makeover is already paying dividends.

The TV personality couple, who are at the forefront of the network’s rebranding to Magnolia, scored four out of DIY’s Top 5 all-time ratings spots in the adults 25-54 demographic with their preview programming on Sunday, according to The Wrap on Tuesday. 

Over 2.3million viewers watched the Fixer Upper stars’ sneak peek, which ran for four hours.

The primetime block was titled Fixer Upper: A Look Back, and ran from from 5pm-9pm. 

On Sunday, Joanna shared a clip that covers what can be seen on the network called Magnolia.

Throughout the clip, the Waco, Texas matriarch is seen preparing a big sit-down meal for her friends. ‘There are so many people out there that have these stories that need to be told,’ says Joanna during the video.

‘When you heard these stories you think, this is gonna work,’ added Chip Joanna also says that after watching the Magnolia you will be ‘inspired.’ 

The video is over a minute long and encompasses the Gaines world.

There is also a woman cutting flowers and there are images of a farm. 

At the end, Joanna is seen beaming as she serves a sit-down dinner at a large table.

The couple  have delayed the launch of their Magnolia Network in light of production shutdowns across the TV industry.

The home renovation professionals venture with Discovery will no longer premiere on October 4 2020 as planned, according to Deadline.

But the couple did reveal Magnolia’s initial slate of series, which will get teased with a four-hour preview on DIY network starting April 26.

‘Right now, it’s important that we all continue to look out for one another by upholding the guidelines set forth by the experts, leaders and front-line heroes working tirelessly to get us all through this difficult time,’ Chip and Joannna explained in a statement.

‘With this as our top priority, we’ve decided to delay Magnolia Network’s launch until we can safely resume production,’ the went on. 

‘We have an incredible team behind us and we look forward to the days ahead when we can get back to work, telling good stories that encourage, motivate and inspire hope. 

‘In the meantime, we are hosting this special preview where we’ll give you a peek into what we’ve been working on and more of what’s to come for this network we’re building!’

Fans can look forward to big things once the network – which is a total overhaul of Discovery’s DIY Network.

Chip and Joanna are previewing the network with the four-hour Magnolia Presents: A Look Back & A Look Ahead special later this month.

The special will show how Fixer Upper became a hit, earning nearly 17million viewers a week for HGTV. It will also tease their new slate of shows.

There will be eight unscripted series, that mostly focus on food, design, and home renovation.

Bespoke Kitchens follows England-based deVOL Kitchens and their amazing renovations. 

Family Dinner hosted by James Beard-winning chef Andrew Zimmern will invite viewers into the homes of people across the country for a family meal.

Woodworker Clint Harp examines stellar craftsmanship from across American in Restoration Road.

The Fieldhouse is about a gym in Abilene, Texas which helps people turn their lives around. 

Super Dad starring Taylor Calmus shows the comedian and a team of builders create fabulous play structures, tree houses and more for the kids in their lives.

Home Work follows husband and wife Andy and Candis Meredith and their seven kids as they convert a 113-year-old, 20,000 square-foot schoolhouse into their family’s dream home.

A new release date for Magnolia Network has yet to be determined.
