Why Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony refuse to sell their $3million farm

Radio host Kyle Sandilands and his ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony won’t be selling their $3million farm in the NSW Southern Highlands, despite their break-up.

They will be keeping the sprawling property because their near 100 rescue animals still live there, a spokesperson for the former couple said on Monday.

‘Kyle and Imogen will never sell the property,’ the representative said when asked about the 61 hectare estate in Robertson, 90 minutes south of Sydney.

‘The farm is home to over 100 rescue animals who’ll continue to be cared for,’ they added.

Imogen is currently self-isolating at the rural home, which the exes purchased two years ago, during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The pair had named the property ‘Crimson Peak’ after its red A-line roof structure. 

While together the couple shared a number of homes including a $5000-a-week rental in upscale Mosman. And later, a 3,000-a-week home in Hunter’s Hill.   

Kyle is thought to have amassed a sizeable fortune, with him once confessing he was earning $45,000 a day. 

Previously, it was reported he was earning $8 million annually as a star at KIIS FM.  

Kyle announced the couple’s split on-air in November last year, after the high-profile pair spent eight years together. 

The KIIS FM star told his listeners: ‘We haven’t been with each other for quite a few months now. Unfortunately it’s run its course,’ he said.

He is now dating his former employee, Tegan Kynaston, with the couple confirming their relationship on New Year’s Eve. 

Despite the split, the pair have remained publicly amicable. The exes have chosen not to disparage each other. 

While choosing to remain tight-lipped following the split, she did praise Kyle in one of her Instagram post – letting fans know they are on good terms.  

‘We still love each other very much, we speak every day, we still see each other, we do things with each other, we share the farm, we share this fat lump of a dog plus the other ones,’ she said in November.

‘There’s so much more to it than what people just see for black and white. 

‘There is such a grey area here. But in saying that as well, we didn’t want to kind of … have everyone think something differently when we’re not those kinds of people.’
