Fans go wild over ‘You Are Loved’ shirts worn by MasterChef’s Khan Ong

‘I’ve gotten about 300 messages about them!’ MasterChef fans go wild over ‘You Are Loved’ T-shirts worn by Khan Ong – and part of the proceeds go to LGBTQ youth charity the chef says ’empowered him’ in a dark time

Night after night on MasterChef Australia: Back To Win, Khan Ong has worn different coloured T-shirts with the slogan ‘You Are Loved’ on the front.

And fans have gone wild over the fashionable tees, with hundreds asking the chef where they can find one – and many on social media praising the look.

The 27-year-old chef told Ten Daily on Monday that he’s been inundated with requests for the shirts, which are available at Sweater Club for $35, and come in sizes small to 5XL.

‘I reckon I’ve gotten about 300 comments, and private messages sent to me about them,’ he said.

Khan partnered with the small Australian T-shirt business to make the shirts, and, best of all, $10 from each sale goes to the LGBTQIA+ youth charity Minus18.

The cook explained on his Instagram: ‘$10 from every tee will be going to an organisation that made me feel loved, included, empowered and special in a time of my life when I was confused, sad and ashamed of myself.’
